Do you invest in idea stage companies / When is the right time to reach out to ITI?
For idea stage companies, we’re happy to evaluate them once they have successfully executed proof of concept and achieved customer validation in the addressable market. Even though we primarily invest in Seed to Pre-series A companies, we love speaking to entrepreneurs all the time, so even if you are contemplating starting-up or are already building something, reach out to us!
What is your Average Ticket Size?
Our ticket sizes range between $100k – $500k.
Do you co-invest with other investors?
We usually prefer to lead the investment round. However, we’re happy to collaborate with like minded investors.
What do we look for in founders?
We seek visionary, purpose driven and determined founders who want to build world-class products. We prefer to work with integral and ethically strong entrepreneurs who want to build profitable lasting businesses.
Do you invest outside India?
We are an India focused fund and prefer to invest in India.
What is your investment sector focus?
We are a sector agnostic fund that backs startups addressing large scale real world problems. We prefer to support companies that harness technology both in their day-to-day operations and in their efforts to achieve scalability.
How do you support investee startups?
Apart from investing capital, we provide hands-on support to achieve business milestones alongside facilitating any business and strategic partnerships by leveraging our ecosystem network.
What is your investment process and how long does it take for you to make a decision?
Our investment process is usually between 6-8 weeks. This includes due diligence, sanction and documentation. This time frame will vary depending on the availability of information with the founders and furnishing any additional information.
What’s your follow on strategy?
We have a percentage of our funds dedicated to investing in subsequent rounds of our portfolio companies. Having been an active part of the early stage ecosystem, we have great relationships with peer VC funds and large investors that we can introduce our portfolio companies to when they are raising a larger round.
